A TRUE APPRAISAL

An appraisal is not a  guess at the price of something!  Personal property appraisals are very exacting...as in real estate appraisals. First the item must be identified correctly. I must carefully examine the item, measure it, feel it, etc.  I use high quality digital video to give an accurate record to use in my research. 

After the item is identified, I must determine the correct market to examine for the type of value you need. I then research those markets for an identical or similar item to determine the most logical value.  The results are given to you on a report written to ISA and USPAP standards complete with a color picture of the item for identification.

COLSULTATION

I also provide a consultation service when a full, legal appraisal is not necessary. These are non-researched Verbal Approximations of Value given in order to help someone price items for an estate or garage sale, to help in the equitable distribution of an estate, or just information about an item. 

I do not appraise real estate.
